As we have seen in the previous blog entry, sometimes poker players forget how important it is to have an equilibrate diet. Today we will give a couple of tricks for those players who spend too many hours in the road going from one poker tournament to another. Those advices are also valid for professional online poker players who spend so many hours sitting in front of a computer.

First of all, they should make an effort to avoid fast food, which is probably the handier one but also the less healthy. There are many healthier options to eat outside or buying take away and those should be the selected ones.
Moreover, maybe it would also be beneficial to consider taking some vitamins, which will help you to ensure that you don’t have any vitamin deficiency, and therefore to have a healthier life.

Remember that poker players who are fitter can also obtain better results in the poker table, so next time you are travelling to take part in a poker tournament or that you are playing long hours in front of the computer do not forget those tips!

Learn how to take care of yourself

Professional poker players’ daily routines may not be the ideal ones to have a healthy life. The fact that they spend so many hours playing and travelling from one place to another may deprecate their health in the long ran. But in many cases, players are more focus on playing and improve their technique that they forget that health is also important.

The first step to start taking care of themselves is to become aware that having a healthy life is important. Not only for your own health, but also because it will affect your performance in the poker table, because there is no doubt that a fit player will be able to stand better the long tournament hours.
To be more fit, there is nothing better than make exercise in a regular basis. Therefore, between tournament and tournament, players need to make some room to practise some sport and do exercise.
The third important rule is taking care of their diet, and maybe for the players with overweigh problems a reduction of the calories intake could be a reasonable option.

Following those simple advices, I am sure that not only their health but also their poker strategy will improve.
